AN ENGLISH SUMMER

AN ENGLISH SUMMER

After a year and a half I landed back on English soil, well the tarmac at Heathrow. Mum and Dad were there to welcome me and surprisingly it was not raining. I was only back for the summer so had a fair bit of catching up to cram in before we headed off on the second part of our adventure to South America. Helen joined me a month later after finishing a months volunteering at the Rio Olympics.

It's been a bit of a whirlwind visit; in that time I've bought and (hopefully by the time this is live) sold a car, turned thirty, ushered one wedding, best manned another, visited gran in Spain, freelanced for a month in London, nipped up to the Lake District and down to Cornwall (twice), and drank through three big family birthdays. It has been brilliant, but more knackering than backpacking.

Thanks to everyone who put us up, joined us for beers and welcomed us back.
Below are a few snaps from our summer holiday in England.

Thanks & enjoy
